Officer Adams retires from WPD after 29 years of service

WESTMINSTER, Colo -- Officer Adams retired from the Westminster Police Department on Jan. 8, 2025 after 29 years of dedicated service to our community and a remarkable 33 years in law enforcement.

Officer Adams began his career in 1992 as a Grand County Deputy before joining WPD in 1995, where he made an unforgettable impact both within the department and throughout Westminster.

Known for his sharp sense of humor and unwavering dedication, Officer Adam's presence will be deeply missed. In his retirement announcement, he shared: "Though I cannot fully express my gratitude and respect for every individual who has ever worn a badge, it has been a privilege to stand alongside such dedicated men and women. I will miss the daily banter, I will miss the brotherhood and even my chair in roll call."
