WESTMINSTER, Colo – The Westminster Police Department is seeking information to help identify the suspect(s) responsible for vandalizing multiple neighborhoods near 112th Ave and Pecos St early Friday morning.
Officers received nearly a dozen reports from residents in the area stating their vehicles and garages had been spray-painted with inappropriate messages and images. At this time, investigators do not believe this was a bias-motivated crime. Initial findings indicate the vandalism occurred between 4 a.m. and 7 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21.
We are asking residents in the area with RING cameras or other security footage to review their recordings from that timeframe and report any suspicious activity to the police.
Currently, there is no suspect description. Extra patrols have been assigned to the area, and anyone with information is urged to call WPD at 303-658-4360.
