March is Women's History Month, and we're highlighting some of the incredible women of the Westminster Police Department!
First Up: Senior Police Officer Heather Wood — a true trailblazer. She began her law enforcement career with WPD in 1989 (yes, you read that right) and was officially sworn in by 1992. Today, Officer Wood holds the honor of being the longest-serving female officer in WPD history.
From countless roles within the department to her adventurous life outside of work as a certified scuba instructor, she's an inspiration for those both in and out of uniform.
